2:2 Elijah told Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” ¹  But Elisha said, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

3:2 He did evil in the sight of ²  the Lord, but not to the same degree as his father and mother. He did remove the sacred pillar of Baal that his father had made.

10:10 Therefore take note that not one of the judgments the Lord announced against Ahab’s dynasty has failed to materialize. The Lord had done what he announced through his servant Elijah.” ⁷

12:21 His servants Jozabad son of Shimeath and Jehozabad son of Shomer murdered him. ⁸  He was buried ⁹  with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Amaziah replaced him as king.

13:7 Jehoahaz had no army left ¹⁰  except for fifty horsemen, ten chariots, and 10,000 foot soldiers. The king of Syria had destroyed his troops ¹¹  and trampled on them like dust. ¹²

18:24 Certainly you will not refuse one of my master’s minor officials and trust in Egypt for chariots and horsemen. ¹³

19:3 “This is what Hezekiah says: ¹⁴  ‘This is a day of distress, insults, ¹⁵  and humiliation, ¹⁶  as when a baby is ready to leave the birth canal, but the mother lacks the strength to push it through. ¹⁷

Agree to the king’s terms and I will personally give you more horses than you are capable of outfitting. If I, a mere minor official, am capable of giving you such military might, just think what power the king has. There is no way the Egyptians can match our strength. It makes much better sense to deal with us.”
